The Ultimate Outdoor Playground
for the adventurous souls
Samoa really is an outdoor paradise full of fun things to do and beautiful places to visit. Plan and make your Samoa Bucketlist before you travel to get the most out of your holiday. Here are our top picks for you to ponder.
To-Sua Ocean Trench is a magical blue sink hole on the south coast. With the big climb down the ladder, a swim through and lava tubes it really is a top day out. Not to mention the beautifully manicured gardens, picnic fales and dramatic Jurassic Park like views down the coastline it really is worth the $20 WST entry fee. You won't be disappointed!
The Giant Clam conservation area is located at Le Valasi Beach Fales not too far from us. You can swim in the crystal clear waters with a mask and fins to get a good look at the clams below which look unreal! A small fee is payable at the fales.
Samoa is blessed with many waterfalls. Some are easily accessible and you can swim there, others are purely for the view and cascade down from the rainforest high up in the mountains. Here are the ones we think you should try find when you are here:
Togitogiga Waterfall and swimming hole
Sapo'afa Falls and viewing point.
Sauniatu Waterfall and swimming hole
Papapapaotai Falls viewing point
Rainforest Café waterfall
Papasee'a Sliding Rocks just outside Apia is great fun - a totally natural, superfast rock slide into the water. best to visit in wet season November - April
Piula Cave Pool is situated in a church compound on the North Coast. The Fatumea Cave Pool is one of the most popular fresh water tourist attraction in Samoa. The pool is located right at the mouth of the cave that extended more than 200m inland, underneath the college compound. The water is beautifully clear and there is a swim through there. It is also a great coastal drive along the North Shore of Upolu. Small Entry fee applies.
We highly recommend that you rent a 4 wheel drive, take one of our maps and find your way around the island.
Land tours can be pre-arranged also with local guides. Contact us for more details.
